For those asking themselves these questions, I hope this blog will provide you with your own answers.

What to expect

Here, you’ll find a blend of positivity and reality. Techniques to explore your mind and your purpose in life, but also ways to cope when you’re feeling low.

I’ll also try to share my take on different matters related to introversionmental wellnessself-reflection and my views on related topics.

I won’t pretend that life is always sunshine and rainbows because, more often than not, it’s challenging and unforgiving.

The aim is to help you discover what you need to be more at peace in your own mind.

Personal growth

Depression is a mental health condition, you can suffer from this disease even if you never had traumas. It all comes from our own minds, playing tricks on us.

It can cast a shadow on our thoughts, making us focus on problems rather than solutions, like there is no bright side to anything.

You might find it hard to resonate with optimistic advice and none of the solutions people give you resonate for you.

But it’s all about understanding who you are as an individual, what you need, what you love, and what gives you purpose.

For most of us, finding our own purpose can be very challenging.

Remember, there’s no need to compare yourself to others. You are unique, and others’ life goals might not align with what you personally need.

Expertise

I’m not a therapist or a psychiatrist, and I have no health or medicine degree. I’m just a person who has battled depression for eight years.

However, I do believe that all the self-reflection that I’ve done, all the things I’ve learned about myself, my thoughts on the world and what life should be about, can be useful to others.

It took me eight years to realise that I should stop waiting for my state of mind to miraculously improve by itself. That, I, was the one that could turn the situation around.

I, was all I needed to finally be free.

While I’ve identified my triggers and coping mechanisms in 2022, my struggles haven’t completely disappeared. Sometimes, I will actively work on my goals, and sometimes, I feel like I can’t breath because of anxiety.

But through it all, I’ve developed small ways to get better, to find peace within my own mind—personal remedies. And I am here to share them you.

Let’s explore introspection and the journey toward inner peace together !

Note :

While I won’t discuss medication on this blog, I think it’s important to tell you that I have sought out help from specialists and used antidepressants in the past.

If you feel like your situation is too much to bear, please seek help from professionals. There is absolutely no shame in it.

It is sometimes a necessary step before you can start getting better.
